Since January 28, Heungkong Charitable Foundation has actively responded to the calls from the government and contributed RMB 10 million to establish a special fund for fighting against the novel coronavirus pandemic. After establishment of the special fund, the Foundation kept making efforts by donating money to the front-line anti-pandemic hospitals, providing subsidies and material supports to medical professionals and their families, carrying out overseas procurement of emergency medical supplies for and promptly donating the same to designated hospitals in Hubei and other parts of China, providing pandemic prevention emergency materials for the joint prevention and control front-lines in urban and rural communities, donating over RMB 10 million on an accumulative basis, and earnestly fulfilling our mission of “giving back to society through dedication of love”, which has also attracted high attention of and wide spread by the media.

During the Women's Day holiday, Guangdong Women's Federation, the Health Commission of Guangdong Province and the Southern Metropolis Daily jointly carried out a campaign of “Salute to the most beautiful women in Guangdong” by synchronously lighting up out-door display screens on near a thousand landmark buildings in 21 cities across Guangdong to salute to all women who have made efforts to fight against the pandemic and contributed to work and production resumption in Guangdong.

As a representative of “the most beautiful women”, chairman of Heungkong Charitable Foundation Mei Hing Chak who has made outstanding contributions in the fight against and prevention and control of the pandemic in Guangdong as well as work and production resumption, shined in each city in Guangdong with her warm and powerful smiles.

From high-rising office buildings to chain stores, from airports and high-speed rail hub stations to artificial islands of the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge, from CBDs to green land squares, from urban central axis to country fields..., she light up the night and warm people’s hearts together with smiles of other “retrograders”.

As excellent corporate representatives for their outstanding contributions made in the fight against the pandemic and their influences, the Heungkong Charitable Foundation and Heungkong Group participated in the first round of public welfare promotion, and the promotion film was played on the outdoor LED of Guangzhou International Media Harbor near the Canton Tower from the evening of March 12.

In March, huge advertising pictures were erected in Houhai and OCT in Shenzhen, exhibiting work and efforts made by the Heungkong Charitable Foundation for the joint prevention and control of the pandemic.

Outside Guangdong province, the promotion film of the Heungkong Charitable Foundation was played on a rolling basis in 25 shopping malls in four cities of Changsha in Hunan province, Chengdu in Sichuan province, Tianjin and Shanghai, spreading the great love of Heungkong to each line of pandemic prevention and control and inspiring local people.
