The Foundation Worked with the Welfare to the Soul Foundation and Hengqin Life in Holding a Seminar for Building Red Army Primary Schools in Longyan, Fujian Province
1In the afternoon of February 19, a project seminar among the Welfare To the Soul Foundation, Hengqin Life and the Heungkong Charitable Foundation was held in the Banquet Hall of Heungkong Group. Executive director of Huamin Group Chen Xiaolin, chairman of Heungkong Charitable Foundation Mei Hing Chak, board chairman of Hengqin Life Lan Yadong, director of the council of Heungkong Charitable Foundation Zhang Zichun, secretary general of Heungkong Charitable Foundation Hu Yuping, principal for brand and public welfare at Hengqin Life Li Wei and director of the student aiding center of the Welfare To the Soul Foundation Lin Jinling attended this seminar. Presided over by secretary general of Heungkong Charitable Foundation Hu Yuping, the seminar focused on opinion exchanges and discussions in relation to intelligent classrooms and Heungkong Charitable Libraries in the four aided schools in Longyan, Fujian province, namely Shanghang Shiming Red Army Primary School, Shanghai Baisha “Gutian Congress Spirit” Primary School, Shanghang Nanyang Primary School and Wuping Liu Yalou Primary School.
The Heungkong Charitable Library Project for Red Army primary schools in Longyan, Fujian province was set up with an accumulative donation of RMB 400,000 by the Heungkong Charitable Foundation, which carries out construction in the four schools of Shanghang Shiming Red Army Primary School, Shanghai Baisha “Gutian Congress Spirit” Primary School, Shanghang Nanyang Primary School and Wuping Liu Yalou Primary School. Two on-site inspections were made in January and March of 2019 respectively, and the intent of donation was officially established and construction work also commenced in April 2019. The construction was completed in December and the project will run for three years.
