Heungkong Spiritual Growth Program

The Heungkong Spiritual Growth Program, with emphasis on children left behind or stressed children in rural areas and their families, was established in June 2018, which empowers children, parents, teachers and grass-root non-profit organizations to master mental health knowledge and skills and help improve the issues such as currently uneven distribution of psychological education resources between urban and rural areas, backwardness of family education concepts in rural areas and lack of effective psychological care for left-behind children and stressed children in rural areas by creating and delivering a professional psychological curriculum system.

This program is committed to jointly building a children mental health growth service body in rural areas by creating a five-dimensional standardized service model that integrates governments, schools, volunteers, parents and students and joining industry forces to bring advantageous resources together. So far, it has served more than 20 rural schools, and helped over 20,000 children in rural areas carry out spiritual exploration. In 2020, the subprogram “Heungkong Spiritual Cloud Companionship Program” is launched, which has provided nearly 1,000 normal, high-quality and professional one-to-one spiritual companionship services for children left behind due to the pandemic to prevent and relieve psychological pressures caused by the pandemic and suspension of classes.
