Heungkong Education Fund

The Heungkong Charitable Foundation continuously focuses on the education in China, and devotes a great amount of resources to help poverty-stricken students receive education and complete their studies in various forms. In 2009, the Heungkong Excellence Education Fund was established at Jiangxi University of Finance and Economics. The Fund carries forward the Foundation's mission of “Giving back to society through dedication of love” by rewarding diligent and studious university students as well as dedicated teachers and supporting students in the university to carry out social practices and public welfare activities. Subsequently, the Heungkong Excellence Education Fund was also established in the Guangdong Women's Vocational and Technical College, Anhui Suzhou College, Jinling School of Nanjing University and the School of Journalism and Communication of Sun Yat-Sen University, the awards list of which was jointly assessed and determined with such colleges and universities. So far, more than 500 university students and outstanding teachers have received awards, and a number of social and public welfare practice events have been carried out. Aided students said that they will study harder, give back to the society with practical actions, and convey love to others.

In 2019, the Heungkong Charitable Foundation contributed RMB 1.5 million to establish the Heungkong Education Fund in Tuanchong Primary School, Huangzhan Town, Dawu County, Hubei Province, with the purpose to encourage teachers to cherish their roles and devote wholeheartedly to work, impart knowledge and cultivate people, and continuously improve the quality of education; encourage students to be diligent and eager to learn knowledge, work hard and lay a solid quality foundation for achieving their life goals.
